Data controller
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data is processed by BYT Digital Teknoloji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“BYT Digital”) as the data controller. This notice fulfils our duty to inform under Article 10 of the KVKK and explains how personal data is handled on our website.

What personal data do we process?
Our website has no sign-up or user accounts. Your personal data is processed only in the five situations below.
Contact (brief) form
When you fill in the brief form on the home page, we receive your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), the topic you select and your project message. The form is delivered to info@bytdigital.com.tr by email through the Web3Forms form delivery service.
WhatsApp, phone and email
When you call us, message us on WhatsApp or send an email using the links on the site, we process your phone number or email address, your name if you share it, and the content of the conversation. You start this contact. WhatsApp messages are transmitted under WhatsApp's own terms of service and privacy policy.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
If you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-6ZN1LQQSGP)
runs and the _ga and _ga_6ZN1LQQSGP cookies are set in your browser. Usage data such as
the pages you visit, the time and duration of your visit, where you came from, and your device, operating
system and browser type is then sent to Google. Because your browser connects to Google's servers, your IP
address also reaches Google, which uses it to derive an approximate location (country and city level).
If you have consented and successfully submit the brief form, Analytics only receives a “form submitted” event and the topic you selected. Your name, contact details and message are not sent to Google Analytics. If you do not consent, or choose “Reject”, Google Analytics is not loaded and no request is sent to Google Analytics.
Cookieless visit statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits without cookies and without identifying visitors; visitors from the EU are not included in this measurement. Cloudflare adds a measurement script to our pages. The script measures page views, where visitors came from, browser and device type, country and page performance (Core Web Vitals). It sets no cookies in your browser and does not identify you, so it works independently of your choice in the cookie banner.
Security and technical logs
Each time you access the site, some technical information is recorded automatically: your IP address, browser and operating system details, the date and time of the request, and the requested address (URL). These records are created on the Cloudflare network, which delivers the site's traffic and protects it from attacks, and in the access logs of the server that hosts the site.
Purposes and legal bases
We process your personal data for the purposes below, relying on the legal bases listed in Article 5 of the KVKK.

How is personal data collected?
Your personal data is collected electronically, partly by automated means: through the brief form on the site, through WhatsApp, phone and email contact that you start, through Google Analytics cookies if you consent, through the cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics measurement, and through the Cloudflare and server logs created automatically when you access the site.
Who receives personal data?
Your personal data may be transferred to the recipient groups below, for the stated purpose and only as far as necessary:
- Web3Forms: delivering the brief form to us by email (form data).
- Google LLC: the Google Analytics 4 measurement service, only if you have consented to analytics cookies (usage data, cookie identifiers, IP address).
- Google LLC (Google Workspace): hosting the info@bytdigital.com.tr mailbox (form messages and email correspondence).
- Cloudflare, Inc.: content delivery network (CDN) and security service (IP address, browser details, request details); Cloudflare Web Analytics for cookieless visit statistics (page views, referrer, browser and device type, country, page performance).
- The provider of the server that hosts the website: server access logs (IP address, browser details, time and address of the request).
- Authorised public authorities and courts: only where required by law and limited to the information requested.
Web3Forms, Google LLC (Google Analytics and the Google Workspace email hosting service) and Cloudflare, Inc. may provide their services from servers located outside Türkiye, so data sent to these providers, including form messages and email correspondence, may be transferred abroad. Transfers abroad are carried out within the scope of Article 9 of the KVKK. For the transfer involved in Google Analytics, your explicit consent is obtained through the cookie banner; if you do not consent, no data is sent to Google Analytics.
Retention
Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the periods set out in the applicable legislation. When these periods end, the data is erased, destroyed or anonymised. You can find how long Google Analytics cookies remain in your browser in our Cookie Policy.
Data security
In line with Article 12 of the KVKK, we take technical and organisational measures to ensure an appropriate level of security in order to prevent unlawful processing of and unlawful access to your personal data and to safeguard it. The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to the data controller you have the right to:
- a)learn whether your personal data is processed,
- b)request information about the processing if your personal data has been processed,
- c)learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
- ç)know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your personal data is transferred,
- d)request correction if your personal data is incomplete or inaccurate,
- e)request erasure or destruction of your personal data under the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK,
- f)request that the actions taken under (d) and (e) be notified to the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
- g)object to an outcome against you that arises from analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems,
- ğ)claim compensation if you suffer damage because your personal data is processed unlawfully.
How to apply
To exercise your rights, you can submit your application in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, by one of the following means:
- In writing: a signed letter sent by post to Gülbahçe Mah., Gülbahçe Cad. No:1/45, Teknopark İzmir A8 Building, 35430 Urla / İzmir, Türkiye.
- Electronically: to info@bytdigital.com.tr, from an email address you have previously given us and that is registered in our records, or using a secure electronic signature or mobile signature.
Your application should include your name and surname; your Turkish ID number if you are a citizen of Türkiye, or your nationality and passport or ID number if you are not; your residential or business address for notifications; your email address for notifications, if any; your phone number; and the subject of your request. Written applications must also be signed.
We conclude your application free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. If the action requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board. If your application is rejected, you find the answer insufficient, or no answer is given in time, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board under Article 14 of the KVKK.
Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw the explicit consent you gave for analytics cookies at any time. Use the “Cookie settings”
link at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner and choose “Reject”. The _ga cookies set by
the site are then deleted, and Google Analytics is not loaded on your later visits. Withdrawing consent does
not affect processing carried out on the basis of consent before the withdrawal.
Changes
We may update this notice when our processing activities or the relevant legislation change. The current version is always published on this page; the “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest change.
