What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website you visit stores in your browser. Sites can also use the
browser's local storage (localStorage) for similar purposes. This policy covers both.
Cookies and records on our site
Our site uses two kinds of records: one necessary record that remembers your cookie choice, and Google Analytics cookies that run only if you consent.

The byt-consent record contains nothing that identifies you; it only holds your choice and its date,
and it is never sent to any server.
_ga and _ga_6ZN1LQQSGP are first-party cookies: they are set on the bytdigital.com.tr
domain, but Google Analytics reads them and sends their contents to Google together with usage data. Our
Privacy Notice explains in detail which data is processed.
Cookieless visit statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits without cookies and without identifying visitors; visitors from the EU are not included in this measurement. The measurement script that Cloudflare adds to our pages sets no cookies in your browser and does not use local storage to track you. It measures information such as page views, where visitors came from, browser and device type, country and page performance.
Because it uses no cookies, this measurement works independently of your choice in the cookie banner; choosing “Accept” or “Reject” does not affect it. For this reason it is not listed in the table above.
Cookies we do not use
Our site uses no advertising, retargeting or marketing cookies. The LinkedIn and Instagram icons are plain links; no connection is made to these platforms unless you click them. A check on 21 October 2026 showed that neither the server hosting the site nor Cloudflare sets cookies in your browser. If this changes, this policy will be updated.
Legal basis
Analytics cookies rely solely on your explicit consent under Article 5(1) of the KVKK and are not loaded
unless you consent. The byt-consent record is needed so that we can apply the choice you made.
The cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics measurement relies on legitimate interest (Article 5(2)(f) of the
KVKK).
How to change your cookie settings
On your first visit, you can choose “Accept” or “Reject” in the banner at the bottom of the page. Both options carry equal weight; rejecting does not stop you from using any part of the site. To change your decision later, use the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of any page or the button below.
If you consented earlier and now choose “Reject”, the _ga and _ga_6ZN1LQQSGP cookies
set on the bytdigital.com.tr domain are deleted, and Google Analytics is not loaded on later pages. If
JavaScript is turned off in your browser, the banner does not appear and Google Analytics is never loaded.
Deleting cookies in your browser
You can delete or block cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. In browsers such as
Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, these options are usually found under “Privacy”, “Privacy and security” or
“Cookies and site data”. When you delete the stored site data for bytdigital.com.tr, the
byt-consent record is deleted too, and the banner appears again on your next visit.
Google also offers a browser add-on that turns off Google Analytics on all websites: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
